Connor's Playdate

Tonight when I was on my way home from work I called our home phone and guess who answered?  Connor of course...  he started talking really fast about how he needed to invite his friend Sophia over because they were going to make a car together.  They had already talked about it and she was going to draw the body of the car and he was going to draw the wheels.  Apparently Connor had told Sam about this when he picked him up from school and he wanted to take his little table and chairs from home with all of his art supplies to the park across the street so that Sophia and him could work on this project together.  Sam told him that the table and chairs would stay in the house and then passed the buck on to me by telling Connor that he needed to talk to Mommy about having Sophia over, which is why this is the first thing I heard when I called home.  I thought it was cute and quickly arranged a playdate for tomorrow night for Connor and Sophia.  Fast forward to several hours later when Connor is supposed to have been in bed for an entire hour, and here he comes down the stairs.  He said, "I have been in bed thinking of ideas for my playdate with Sophia!  We have some real work to do for it!  First we'll build a car out of art supplies on the table upstairs, then we'll do a race downstairs, then we'll play games in my bedroom and then we'll need some..."  and that's when I stopped him in his tracks and sent him back to bed.  What a busy boy excited about his playdate ;)
